Milwaukee artist Katie Bogan has created a larger-than-life sidewalk chalk portrait of Brewers star Jackson Chourio, which took over 20 hours to create. The 10-by-10-foot portrait is on display outside Chase Tower near Wisconsin Avenue and Water Street and is part of the celebration of the team's first World Series appearance in 44 years. Bogan, a scientist with an eye for art, said creating such a lifelike portrait requires patience, precision and a willingness to look at things differently. However, she knows it may not be permanent as a heavy rain could potentially erase the painting within hours.
