Metro Milwaukee's most expensive homes include elevators, indoor sport courts and boathouses. Home sales in the Milwaukee area have dropped significantly, with a 9.2% drop in August, according to the Wisconsin Realtors Association. Year-over-year home sales in southeast Wisconsin dropped 8.3% statewide, but prices rose by 10.2%, and 7.1% statewide. The median southeast Wisconsin home sale totaled $387,000.
