Steven Burns, 57, of Waterloo, WI and formerly of Green Bay, passed away on October 13, 2026. Born on September 22, 1969, and raised in Greenleaf, Greenleaf to William and Karen Burns, Burns was a high school graduate and enjoyed life until he suffered a severe brain injury from a car accident. His mom became a full-time caretaker until she passed away. He found a second family with Kevin and Mary Ann Kakuk and their client Scott Berhardt, who took him into their home until about 2 years ago when they had to give him up. He then went to an assisted living facility in Waterloo,WI. He is survived by his brothers, Dennis Burns (Kelly) and David Burns; sister Julie Burns (Keith), two nieces, Amber Burns and Katey Burns, and a nephew Dalton Rupiper.
