New halal charcuterie business caters to Milwaukee Muslims Magida Jaber, a mother of two, has launched a new halal charcuterie business in Milwaukee, named "Zatoon Charcuterie," which caters to Milwaukee Muslims. The business uses halal meats and cheeses from Michigan, combines them with halal Wisconsin cheeses and edible flowers to be delivered to customers across southeastern Wisconsin. Jaber also introduced Milwaukee's first halal chcuterie cart, which is making a stir at festivals and events. She has learned about pricing, branding and marketing, and is working on building a website to add to her social media presence and expanding her menu. Her first halaled Charcuteria workshop will be held at 5 p.m. on October 30 at MOTW Coffee and Pastries.
