These Milwaukee Brewers are two games from immortality in World Series
Brewers have commanding lead in World Series. But they can't let up vs. Rays. Milwaukee Brewers are two games away from their first World Series championship in franchise history, with a 5-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. The Brewers, who are currently up 2 games to 0 over the Rays, have had seven postseason victories in which they trailed by a combined score of 20-5, only to turn it around by a score of 28-0. They also became the first team in postseason history to win seven of their first eight games that they've trailed. Despite being down 4-0 just five batters in the game, the Brewers overcame a 4-3 deficit to win, outscoring the Dodgers and Rays, 11-0 in those games. The team's lead pitcher, Brandon Woodruff, has been with the organization since 2014 and their longest-tenured player, Hamilton, feels like their win probability is 100% every game.
