Man charged after deadly Milwaukee police chase
A De Pere man is charged after prosecutors say a high-speed police chase ended in a crash that killed Jose Lezama-Flores at 30th and Center in Milwaukee. Jordan Hall, a 40-year-old De Pere man, has been charged with multiple offenses, including first-degree reckless homicide, following a police chase that resulted in a fatal crash that killed an uninvolved passenger. The police chase began when Hall was spotted while conducting surveillance as part of a narcotics investigation and led them on a 2.28-mile high-speed chase. The chase reached speeds of up to 95 mph before Hall crashed into another vehicle near North 30th and West Center streets, killing the passenger. After being read his Miranda rights, Hall told investigators he had come to Milwaukee to buy crystal meth for personal use and sell. The other vehicle's driver, Jose Lezama-Flores, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later placed on life support.
