See southeast Wisconsin's most expensive September home sales
Metro Milwaukee's most expensive homes include elevators, indoor sport courts and boathouses. Home sales in the Milwaukee area have dropped significantly, with a 9.2% drop in August, according to the Wisconsin Realtors Association's most recent report. However, home sale prices rose by 10.2%, and the median southeast Wisconsin home sale totaled $387,000. The most expensive September home sale was a 12,500-square-foot Waukesha home that sold for just under $4.5 million. Other notable home sales included a custom-built lakefront home in Oconomowoc for $3.9 million, which sold for $2.75 million.
