Is Your Child Brushing With Recalled Toothpaste? What WI Shoppers Should Know
Many of the more than 4.3 million tubes recalled were marketed for children. The voluntary recall of the toothpaste, which was distributed nationwide, was initiated in September but was not assigned a classification until mid-October when it was designated a Class II recall, meaning it may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health outcomes but the risk of serious consequences is low. The toothpaste was distributed in tubes with Brush Buddies, evo and ARU branding. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration has stated that the potential for serious health consequences is remote.
