Green Bay seeks feedback on Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary restoration project
An informational meeting is Thursday from 3:30 to 6:30. The City of Green Bay is seeking public feedback on a restoration project at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. The project aims to improve fish and wildlife habitat in the area. Project manager Amanda Tuttle said the first step was to get to know the area and map wetlands, waterways, and invasive species. The designs are currently about 60% complete, leaving room for revision. An informational meeting on the project will be held on Oct. 22 at the Dick Resch Family Learning Center at Bay beach Wildlife Sanctuary, with public consultation expected to take place.
