Eddie Montgomery goes solo in Green Bay concert, while honoring Troy Gentry
By tragic circumstance, now solo artist, Eddie Montgomery Gentry will perform at the Meyer Theatre on Friday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m. Country music duo Eddie Montgomery Gentry, the other half of the duo, will perform at the Meyer Theatre in Green Bay on Nov. 1. They will perform songs from his solo debut album "Ain’t No Closing Me Down," which includes hits from his duo career. The other half, Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash in September of 2017. Tickets go on sale for $55 and $65.

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Half of one of country music's most popular duos will perform in Green Bay.
By tragic circumstance, now solo artist, Eddie Montgomery Gentry will perform at the Meyer Theatre on Friday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m.
Montgomery and his band The Wild Bunch will play songs from his brand-new, solo debut album “Ain’t No Closing Me Down," as well as hits from his duo career as Montgomery Gentry.
The other half of Montgomery Gentry, Troy Gentry, tragically died in a helicopter crash in September of 2017.
Montgomery Gentry rocked to stardom in 1999 with its album “Tattoos & Scars.” Over the next 18 years, the duo had 20-plus charted singles, collected CMA, ACM and Grammy nominations and awards with hits including “Hell Yeah,” “My Town” and “Hillbilly Shoes.”
Their No. 1s included “If You Ever Stop Loving Me,” “Something to be Proud Of,” “Lucky Man,” “Back When I Knew It All” and “Roll With Me.”
Tickets are $55 and $65 and go on sale Friday, June 14 at 11 a.m. at MeyerTheatre.org, by phone at 800-895-0071 or at the Ticket Star Box Office in the Resch Center.
