Aaron Ashby Makes MLB Postseason History in Brewers Game 4 Loss
With a scoreless Game 4 outing, Aaron Ashby broke a 10-year record for most scoreless innings to start a postseason. Aaron Ashby made MLB Postseason history with 2.1 scoreless innings in Game 4, breaking the record for most consecutive scoreless hours to start the postseason. The previous best was 16 innings by Andrew Miller from the Cleveland Indians. Ashby's 18 innings lead all Brewers pitchers this postseason, with Robert Gasser's 15. Despite these efforts, the Brewers were unable to close out Game 4 of the World Series. Despite not winning the WorldSeries MVP, Ashby has been instrumental in Milwaukee's successful postseason run. He has also recorded saves in two games in the National League Championship Series and Game 2 of the Series.
