Milwaukee tests election equipment ahead of Election Day

Election officials say they're preparing for what's expected to be high voter turnout across the City of Milwaukee. Milwaukee election officials are preparing for a busy Election Day on Nov. 3, with a public test of ballot-counting equipment. The test is standard procedure for elections in Wisconsin and is aimed at maintaining public trust in the process. Among those attending the test were Ben Ginsberg and Bob Bauer, co-chair of a national organization called Pillars of the Community. Both Ginsberg said the group uses experience from both sides of the political spectrum to build public confidence in elections. Milwaukee Election Commission Director Paulina Gutierrez said the city is looking for additional poll workers on Election Day.
