World Series Ticket Price Record Could Fall Twice in 24 Hours
After 10 years, a World Series ticket resale record fell with Game 1 of the Fall Classic. It may be mere hours before it falls again. The final low-end resale price for the 2026 World Series opener between the Rays and Brewers, won 3–2 by Milwaukee, may fall again within 24 hours. Following the Brewers' victory, the market for Game 2 is rising even higher due to Brewers Fever. Fans in MLB's smallest market are pushing the local ticket resale market to a level similar to a Super Bowl or NBA Finals in a major locale. The get-in price for Game 3 at Tropicana Field, the Rays' first home game in this World Series, currently stands at $761. Despite this disparity, Brewers fans continue to show unprecedented energy in Wisconsin. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred commended the enthusiasm of Brewers fans.
