Milwaukee Archbishop Apologizes for White House Visit
Archbishop Grob says he and other bishops didn't give permission to post photos or videos. Milwaukee Archbishop Jeffrey Grob has publicly apologized for a White House visit where he and other bishops were shown praying over President Donald Trump. Grob claims that he and 11 other bishops did not give permission to post photos or videos. The meeting was held at the White House and was attended by the conservative Heritage Foundation and was intended to discuss issues such as immigration enforcement, religious worker visas, and human dignity. The apology was posted to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee website. Grobs received "messages of serious concern" after a video and photos of the prayer were posted online.
